Alfred Sisley was born in Paris of British peasent in 1839.He lived in France and occasionally visited England.He was trained in the studio of Gleyre in Paris and became a member of the Impressionist group.His work was close to that of Pissarro and Monet.He mainly painted landscape and died in 1899.
